Our customers have much to say about the level of quality, service, industry knowledge and trust they have in Used Sweepers of America, LLC.
To ensure unbiased accuracy, we asked Ranger Kidwell-Ross, editor of the sweeping industry's most comprehensive news resource, WorldSweeper.com, to conduct the following interviews.
He was provided with an extensive list of customers to choose from, which included representatives of a variety of types of power sweeping. In the interest of full disclosure, we also encouraged him to ask customers if they had constructive critique to offer, in addition to any positives things they might have to say. We felt this might help us to improve our business. Those comments have been left in the following uncut interviews.

Susan Goodman is one of the owners of Tennessee-based Goodman Parking Lot Services. She discusses her company's positive experience as a customer of UsedSweepersOfAmerica.com with Ranger Kidwell-Ross, editor of WorldSweeper.com. Their company had contracts before they purchased a sweeper to cover them.
Although they found the sweeper they wanted at UsedSweepersOfAmerica.com, a 2001 Schwarze S-series machine, the refurbishment process was unable to be completed in the timeframe they needed. So, Tommy Allen, president of Used Sweepers of America, LLC, let them use a loaner sweeper until their sweeper was ready.
Then, when Goodman's machine had a transmission breakdown on the chassis, it was fixed under warranty and they received a loaner sweeper to use until theirs was fixed. The Goodmans feel their choice of Used Sweepers of America, LLC has been instrumental in keeping their company going as a startup.

Buzz Stiles is Maintenance Manager for Tennessee-based PSC Metals. His company had been using a Tennant parking lot-type sweeper, which was too small and a poor type for the workload of sweeping the streets around the PSC Metals' scrapyard. The company is located next door to the TN Titans stadium, and the city is very restrictive about the dust that may be present on the road outside the yard.
Tommy Allen, president of Used Sweepers of America, LLC, recommended going with a heavy-duty mechanical broom sweeper as a much better option. It was the right type of sweeper for the situation, powerful enough to handle the load, and capable of being run pretty much constantly, as was needed. The agreed-upon unit was a 2001 M-5000. The sweeper has been near flawless in operation for PSC.
In the interview, Stiles comments that an advantage in working with Tommy Allen's Used Sweepers of America was that Allen set deadlines for delivery, training, etc., and that all were met with no excuses or delays. Basically, it was a business transaction that was adhered to completely by Used Sweepers of America, LLC.

Rich Rhinehart is vice president of Maryland-based Rhinehart Railroad Construction. His company was requested by a client to handle pavement cleanup at a client's coal-fired plant. After evaluating a number of potential vendors of used sweepers, the person Rich tasked with evaluating available sweepers recommended Used Sweepers of America, LLC.
At that point, Rich contacted Tommy Allen to discuss his needs. He needed a dependable sweeper that would handle the job and which would be sweeping at night for around 8 hours each day. Ultimately, Rich bought a low mileage, 1992 Schwarze 345-I.
In the audio interview, below, Rhinehart talks about why they chose to go with Used Sweepers of America, and what his experience has been in terms of training, support, etc. Important factors were the refurbishment the sweeper would have, its warranty and Used Sweepers of America's loaner program. In retrospect, he also appreciates the operation and service information his personnel were provided with. Finally, Rich said he felt Tommy Allen understands the importance of him being able to operate the machine each and every day, since it's their only sweeper and they don't have a backup unit.

When Chris Ellenburg started a sweeping company, Ontario California-based CLS HydroSweep, he purchased his first sweeper from Used Sweepers of America, LLC. In this interview, Chris discusses his experience working with Tommy Allen, president of Used Sweepers of America, LLC.
After thoroughly discussing the type of sweeping Chris planned for his company, he was sold a low mileage 2002 Schwarze 347-I. The purchase was made from Alabama-based Used Sweepers of America, LLC even though a Schwarze dealer is located about an hour away from HydroSweep.
